No, CoW cannot retrieve your password
Caves of Wonders (CoW) does not have access to a readable copy of your password. Your password is protected in encrypted form, which means even CoW cannot look it up and send it back to you.
Contact CoW if you need to reset your password
If you have forgotten your password, contact CoW and we can help you reset it. Resetting a password is different from retrieving the old one: CoW can help you set a new password, but cannot reveal the password you previously used.
Why this protects your private content
That limitation is intentional. It helps ensure that your password-protected Caves, Chests, and bookmarks remain yours—not something that CoW staff can access on your behalf.
